Three ways to work together. Each one scoped to change a decision.
Summit Epi Analytics keeps a deliberately small surface area. Three engagement types, fixed structures, public price ranges. Choose the one that matches the decision in front of you — or write to us and we will help you choose.
| Engagement | Duration | Range | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trial Design Review | 3 weeks | $5,000 – $15,000 | A planned cluster-randomized or stepped-wedge trial that you want stress-tested for interference and identifiability before data collection. |
| Decision-Grade Modeling Brief | 6–8 weeks | $30,000 – $60,000 | A ministry, donor, or program-level decision that needs a mechanistic, stochastic, or agent-based model built in partnership with named client-affiliated statisticians. |
| Biosecurity Diligence Sprint | 2 weeks | $10,000 – $20,000 | An investor, agency, or prime evaluating a specific surveillance or outbreak-tech product, especially in the post-Ginkgo procurement window. |
Larger engagements ($40K–$80K+) and subcontract PI roles on academic primes' grants are accepted selectively. Write to us with the analysis plan and prime PI.
Engagement details
Trial Design & Evaluation
Independent design and analysis review for cluster-randomized, stepped-wedge, and ring-vaccination trials in ID and emerging-pathogen contexts and evaluation of collective or network-aware interventions. Interference, contamination, and identifiability handled explicitly — not assumed away.
- HIV / TB / malaria prevention consortia (HPTN, HVTN, Aurum, IMPAACT)
- Vaccine evaluation consortia (CEPI, GAVI, malaria vaccine groups)
- Regulatory reviewers needing independent statistical review
- Academic primes needing a subcontract PI with this expertise
Decision-Grade Modeling
Mechanistic, stochastic, and agent-based models for ministries of health, NGOs, and donor-funded programs — co-developed with client-affiliated statisticians, anchored in a real methodological contribution, ending in reusable open code.
- Rwanda Biomedical Centre · Botswana–Harvard Partnership
- Africa CDC and LMIC ministry equivalents
- Wellcome Leap, Gates Foundation, Schmidt Sciences as funders
- LSHTM / Imperial / UCT consortia for subcontract PI roles
Biosecurity Evaluation
Independent technical due diligence on biosecurity, surveillance, and outbreak-tech products in the post-Ginkgo procurement window. Insider knowledge of what these systems actually deliver, applied honestly.
- Impact investors and biosecurity-focused funds
- BARDA, CDC, ASPR, and LMIC public health agencies
- Defense and biotech primes evaluating partners or acquisitions
- Former Ginkgo clients searching for replacements
A predictable shape. No surprises in scope, deliverable, or price.
1 · Scoping call
30 minutes, no charge
We confirm the question, the decision it serves, the stakeholders, and the deadline. If the work isn't a fit — for capacity or for principle — we say so and refer where we can.
2 · Statement of work
Fixed fee, fixed deliverables
A one-page SOW with the question, the methods, the deliverable, the timeline, the price, and the publication and embargo terms. Signed before any analysis begins.
3 · Delivery & debrief
Memo + working session
Written deliverable on schedule, followed by a 60–90 minute working session with the decision-makers. Optional follow-on co-authorship for trial and modeling engagements.
